Below, it is presented a guide in which you can find all the information you need to buy Bitcoin, together with the details and the general instructions to start using the App in the best possible way.
1. Download the app and register
Download the App available for Android and iOS. Open the App and follow the steps to complete the registration process.
2. Secure your credentials
Write down in a secure place, preferably not linked to any internet network:
Password - you have set
Pin code - you have set
12 words – already set, that can be found (or you can find) in the settings.
3. Complete your profile
Go to the section Market and click on “Enable the Market”.
Your name, address anche ID document are requested.
It may take few days to be approved; the registration process will be asked only once.
4. Buy and sell Bitcoin
Once completed your profile and after receiving the confirmation email from us, you are ready to buy and sell Bitcoin.
How to buy through credit card or prepaid card
When you choose to buy through credit or prepaid card, you just need to follow the steps below:
In the section Market, click the “Buy” button;
Enter the amount you desire to buy, paying attention that the amount doesn’t exceed your purchase availability;
On the next screen you can enter the details of your preferred debit/credit or prepaid card (in case you want to buy through wire transfer, please see the next section of this FAQ);
To confirm the order, you just need to click the button “Continue” and follow the procedure required by your bank for card payments to be authorized;
If your order has been successful, it will appear on the display the message “Your order has been successful” and your Bitcoin will arrive directly to your wallet. If not, you will see “Order failed” and you have to repeat the procedure again.
The minimum purchase amount is 100 euro.
The credit or prepaid card must be on your name, otherwise the order will not be accepted. The amount entered cannot exceed your daily and yearly purchase availability, the latter details are always available in the App settings.
How to buy through wire transfer
1. Enable purchases through wire transfer
Once completed your profile with your personal documents, you can access the advanced features, such as the option to purchase through wire transfer, through the section, “Profile”, “Security” and by clicking “Increase my availability”. You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire, pursuant to the V European Anti-money laundering Directive. It takes only a few minutes. The assessment of your questionnaire might take up to a few days and once received our confirmation, your availability will be increased, and you can buy Bitcoin also through wire transfer.
2. Buy Bitcoin through wire transfer
If you desire to buy through wire transfer, you just need to follow the steps below:
On the screen “Profile”, click the “Buy through wire transfer” button;
You will find in the app the relevant Iban, the payment description, and the account holder;
Access your home banking and make the wire transfer;
You will receive a notification through the App as your Bitcoin are in your Wallet. This will happen as Conio receives your wire transfer.
The minimum purchase amount is 100 euro.
The Wire transfer must be made from a bank account or from a prepaid card on your name, otherwise it will not be accepted. The amount entered cannot exceed your daily and yearly purchase availability, the latter details are always available in the App settings.
The wire transfer usually takes around 2 days to clear; you have also the option to make an instant wire transfer to receive your Bitcoin even faster.
